My husband Bob and I have been married for 42 years and have four children and two grandchildren. After doing Christian ministry in Japan for 22 years, we returned to the States where I eventually went back to school (I have a Bachelor of Music degree) and got my CNA when I was 55 years old. Caring for people is my passion! I received my RN license at age 61, fulfilling my dream from childhood of becoming a nurse. I continue to enjoy helping people in some of their deepest time of need.

I'm the administrative assistant of The Meadows, I bring decades of hands-on healthcare experience to my role. I began my career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1994 and spent many years working directly with patients in a variety of care settings. In 2011, I expanded my clinical background by becoming a Medical Assistant.
Most recently, I dedicated four years to hospice care as an administrative assistant.
With my clinical experience and strong organizational skills, I am proud to support our students, staff, and the school’s mission of preparing skilled and compassionate CNAs.
